Small Group Hiking Tours Of Sri Lanka
OUR TRIPS
MULTI-DAY TREKS
With an average daily hiking distance of 15 km, our Multi-Day Treks offer a unique and rewarding walking experience—from historic routes, native forests, and misty mountains to picturesque tea gardens and rural villages where you can interact with friendly locals.

DAY HIKES & CITY WALKS
Our day hikes will surprise you with how you can walk to places that seem far more out of town than what you have walked. They offer something for everyone.
Ayubowan, Vanakkam
Since 2011, we’ve been focused on making amazing hiking experiences by developing our own trails. We have something for everyone when it comes to hiking, from leisurely city walks to intense multi-day treks and everything in between. We’re always on the lookout for and evaluating new trails to make your experience even more enjoyable. Taking a trip with us will definitely shift your outlook on Sri Lanka.
We take on the responsibility of your entire journey, from planning your route to managing the practicalities like transport, accommodation, food and baggage. This frees you up to dive into the local culture and experience unexpected encounters, and enjoy comfortable accommodation, delicious food, and great company. That’s the way to experience Sri Lanka differently.

SMALL GROUPS
We run our trips in small groups of like-minded travellers of 4 to 8 and occasionally 10, making our trips much more enjoyable and quickly socialising with group members and our team. Our trips are more about one-of-a-kind experiences across the island, packed with local culture, history and nature.

FLEXIBILITY
We try hard to make our trips unconventional by giving you breathing space, and flexibility. There are no planned sightseeing excursions. You choose what you want to do during your free time. You may even want to turn the traditional “must-see” list into a “hope-to-see” list!

ACCOMMODATION
Our selection of accommodations is based on both their location and quality, with a preference for locally owned establishments. The lodging options include a diverse range of stylish and well-maintained heritage bungalows, mid-range cosy hotels with en-suite rooms, eco-friendly lodges, and comfortable tented camps. You stay at each location for two nights so that you can make the most of them.

MEALS
You will start your day with a hearty breakfast to complement your day’s hike. Lunches will be at local restaurants, home-cooked or picnics on the trail. You’ll sit down together as a group every evening for a delicious dinner.
TRANSPORT
Air-conditioned tour vehicles with comfy seats and rear luggage space will be at your disposal for transfers between hike start/finish points and hotels as per the trip itinerary.
SUPPORT TEAM
For our Multi-Day Treks, we provide a support team including an experienced, English-speaking trek guide, a qualified first-aider and a member of the outline community. The trek guide acts as the overall tour leader throughout the trip. Our team of chauffeur guides and local guides speak good English and some fluently. They are trained and licensed by the Sri Lanka Tourism Authority.

OUR COMMITMENT
We recognize that any form of tourism brings with it some negative fallouts. Our purpose is to cut down the negative impact on the surroundings and the local people as little as possible.
- Strictly maintain our “small group” policy
- Engage the members of the outline communities in service and provision supply
- Pay equitable remuneration to our trek guides, chauffeurs, and service providers
- Support an inclusive travel experience for all regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion or gender
- Discourage any activity affecting animals in captivity or domesticated for entertainment
- Invite the travellers to give time and skill to the local community
Our trek guides, chauffeur guides and local partners are equally outdoor-inspired, like-minded amateurs and professionals from different fields. We are all passionate about walking and love to share our insight with you and commit to operating our activities responsibly.
