Kotte Walk
Ramparts, moats and bustling city life…
Welcome to the forgotten Kingdom of Kotte, built in the 14th century. Kotte was a water fortress fortified with ramparts of laterite rocks. Walking through this populated area, you will be amazed to see the remnants of the old rampart, inner & outer moats and stupa-like structures.
